Emmanuel Naweji

Cloud & AI/ML Architect · PhD Researcher · Pastor

My calling is designing and building systems, and raising up people, that help the world compete on equal footing.

That's the throughline in everything I do. Not just cloud systems or AI pipelines, but systems in the broadest sense: the infrastructure, research, and people-development that let organizations and individuals operate with less friction and more confidence, wherever they start from.

On the research side, my PhD work focuses on applied Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, and Quantum Computing in highly regulated environments; industries like FinTech, Healthcare, and Government, where innovation has to hold up under real compliance, security, and reliability constraints. I'm interested in how these technologies move from theory into systems that regulators, auditors, and operators can actually trust.

On the engineering side, I help organizations build secure, scalable, and compliant cloud systems by integrating AI into DevOps workflows. I specialize in:

  • AI/ML systems for regulated industries (FinTech, Healthcare, Government)
  • Applied Robotics and Quantum Computing research
  • AI-driven incident prediction and automation
  • DevSecOps and policy-as-code (OPA, IAM, security controls)
  • Cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Kubernetes and OpenShift-based platforms
  • Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GitOps, ArgoCD)

What I'm building now

I'm currently building platforms, research, and mentorship systems that help teams and individuals:

  • Reduce operational risk in highly regulated environments
  • Apply AI, ML, and Robotics responsibly under real compliance constraints
  • Improve system reliability and observability
  • Automate compliance processes
  • Optimize cloud costs

Closing the intelligence gap

Beyond the engineering and the research, I'm driven by a deeper conviction: youth and small business owners in developing countries deserve the same access to AI, Machine Learning, and Robotics intelligence as their peers in developed countries. Access to that intelligence is what lets someone build and compete with anyone in the world, regardless of where they were born. My primary focus is Africa, and second, Central and South America.

Computer and AI literacy is my passion. I invest that passion in:

  • Pastors and Christian leaders learning to use technology in ministry
  • Companies and clients modernizing with AI and cloud systems
  • People breaking into IT for the first time
  • Youth and small business owners building AI/ML/Robotics literacy

I carry out this calling through Transformed2Succeed, where I train, mentor, design, and build systems for people, and through Kids Teck Inc, where I'm building a way for youth to access intelligence and compete with their peers in developed countries.

Who I work with

Whether you're an engineer aiming for a high-impact, high-paying role, an organization modernizing your cloud and AI infrastructure in a regulated industry, a leader looking to build clarity around your calling and brand, or a young person or small business owner ready to build real AI/ML literacy; if you need a system built or a mind equipped, I'd love to hear from you.

Beyond the cloud

I've served as a Pastor for over 14 years in Iowa, and I've been drawn to technology for over 20 years, since the first day I sat in front of a computer. What caught my attention wasn't the screen, it was the question underneath it: how does this actually work? That question pulled me past the hardware and into the software, the invisible logic behind what we see and touch, and it has never let go of me since.

Scripture says, “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search it out” (Proverbs 25:2). We were made to search out mysteries, visible and invisible. And we cannot be as efficient or as effective as we're capable of being if we ignore what God has already given us to work with: intelligence, the internet, access to it, and the tools built on top of it. Building and teaching others to build with these gifts isn't separate from my faith; it's an expression of it.
