How To Make Your Day Count

How To Make Your Day Count

There are 3 things that can help you with that.

1) Walk in wisdom towards everyone.
2) Use well your time.
3) speak in a way to uplift someone.

Here’s how you should walk in wisdom towards everyone:

  1. Show some hospitality to the stranger or someone with whom you have no relationship. You never know whom God can use to change your life.
  2. Always do some good to everyone. Whatever you do the least (stranger) you do it for Jesus Christ. Doing so makes you a faithful and good Servant.
  3. Think good about people. A better practice could be to ask God to bless someone when their name comes to mind. Or pray for a person who just jumps in front of you in line you are waiting to check out your items at the food store. You never know. Maybe that person just needed you to pray for them in order to spark God’s healing in their life. God can use is in mysterious ways.

Here’s why you should use well your time today:

  1. Time is a gift and because it is a gift, we have to use it wisely. Using time well as a gift means that we honor the giver of time, God.
  2. The use of time shows how much we care for others. Using time well means making sure that we find a way to better for the people that are dear to us: family, self, prayer, church and other community needs.

Here is how you should speak in a way to uplift someone:

  1. Use your words to bless someone.
  2. Use your words to encourage and uplift somebody.
  3. Use your words to say a prayer for yourself, your family, your friends and the stranger.

Scripture for the day: “Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. 6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” Colossians 4: 5–6
